La Maison des Chiens offers a grooming experience that is hard to find in other grooming salons.

David is responsible for all grooming in the salon ensuring consistent results and high standards.

David is a City & Guilds Qualified Dog Groomer and prides himself on keeping abreast with new grooming techniques, regularly attending training events and is currently undertaking further grooming qualifications. He also holds an OCN Pet First Aid Qualification.

The Salon

Our salon is made up of the most proficient and safe equipment available in the grooming trade including:

• Electric tables that lower to the ground for easy access for large dogs.
  
• Electric bath that also lowers to the ground, great for big dogs that are not so comfortable being picked up.
• Cordless clippers and trimmers ensure no messy wires around that your pet can chew.
• Fully air-conditioned environment to keep your pet comfortable at all times.
  
• Hand dryers. We only use hand dryers on all our dogs, and have no cage dryers in our salon, that can be a source of stress for pets and owners.

The Groom

All dogs and cats are welcome.

A range of services are available, from nail clipping, to a full groom (bath (dogs only), groom as specified, nail clipping, ear cleaning, sanitary shaving).

We ask that your pet (canines in particular) has had the opportunity to go to the toilet beforehand, as a restless and uncomfortable dog only makes the grooming process stressful for pet and groomer.

All grooming prices are dependent upon breed, coat condition and temperament. Please contact us for further information.​

Cancellations

We require 24 hours notice for cancellations, with no charge applicable.

Cancellations can only be made by phone call.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will be charged in full prior to next visit.
